COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course focuses on the topic of Public Art and the spatial, political, historical and aesthetic evolution surrounding its many forms. Public Art includes studio and outdoor projects, lectures, readings, writing assignments, and guest presentations. Students are required to complete 4 projects, participate in group critiques and discussion and produce a final portfolio. We will meet online on Mondays and in the studio on Wednesdays. We will be remote the first two-weeks of the semester.
